Registration Fees
Standard fee: €150
Reduced fee: €100 (students and members of the Portuguese Association of the Castles’ Friends. Comprovativo required)
Special fees: a special fee will be considered for groups with three or more people. In this case contact the Conference Office.
The registration fees include:
Work sessions attendance
Workshops attendance
Coffee-breaks during work days
Lunch at the University cafeteria during work days
Opening reception attendance
Use of conference facilities
Reception of work papers
Reception of the conference proceedings (one per each registered person)
The possibility of joining the tour and social events program (requires registration and payment).
Registrations will only be considered after payment.
Registration will only be accepted with the full filling and sending of the registration form. Please state correctly all your options in the registration form.
Participation in the tours and the closing dinner requires separate payment.
Registration deadline: October, 15th, 2008.
Late Registration
To registrations received after Octoberr 15th 2008 a fee of €35 will be added.
Refund policy
Should you decide not to attend the Conference the following refund policy will be applied:
Until October 15th, full refund minus an administrative fee of €30.
Between October 16th and November 10th, 50% refund minus an administrative fee of €30.
After November, 11th, no refund.
Accompanying person
An accompanying person is understood to be a family member or comparable person of the participant. An accompanying person has no active or official role in the conference: he/she cannot present a paper, chair no session, or act as a session organizer, commentator, discussant or keynote speaker. Accompanying persons are not listed in the list of participants and their contact information is not provided. Accompanying persons must state whom they are accompanying.
Accompanying persons are welcome to attend work sessions, opening and closing sessions, and to discuss the ongoing themes during coffee.
There are two types of accompanying persons:
Option 1 - €50
Accompanying person with this option is entitled to:
attend the opening receptions
Attend work sessions
Join the tours and social events program (requires registration and payment).
Option 2 - € 75 (includes day catering)
