There are two ways to present your work to the International Conference on Sea Coast Fortification:

Oral Presentations
To submit your paper abstract pay attention to the following procedures:
Submission deadline:May 31st, 2008.
Abstract acceptance information: until June, 30th, 2008.
· 250 word (max.) abstract in Portuguese or English
· The abstract must be accompanied by a one-page CV for each author
· The author’s name (if more than one the name of all the authors), the e-mail address, the abstract title, a concise statement of the subject, and a summary of the major conclusions must be included
· The thematic session in which to include the presentation must be indicated
· Abstracts must be submitted through e-mail by filling the appropriate form, and sending it to the Conference Office. All the form fields are mandatory. Abstracts can also be submitted in a digital format (CD), by post to the Conference Office, for review by the scientific council.
Presentations must not exceed 20m.

Poster Presentation
It will be possible to present your work through poster. These will be presented in a special room. The posters authors’ will have the possibility to present orally their work in a session with 5 to 10 minutes.
A period of discussion will follow this oral presentation.
The posters should be supplied and placed by their authors.
A CD copy of the posters must be submitted to the Conference Office by the authors.
Proceedures for presenting a poster The text must be written using Verdana type (Windows) in the following conditions:

Size 28;

Single line spacing;

Upper, inferior and lateral margins; 3 cm

Poster title using size 72 bold
-
Author (s) name (s) using size 36 with address and e-mail contacts (in size 28)
Poster dimensions: 120 cm X 80 cm
